🏁 How to Win
Parallel Parking
Park between two cars alongside a kerb. Line up beside the target, reverse back slowly away from the curb, then straighten and shift to P. The most challenging real-world scenario for new drivers.
Forward Bay Parking
Drive forward into a marked bay. Centre the car before crossing the lines, stop fully inside the zone, straighten the wheel, then engage Park. Common in supermarkets and car parks.
Reverse Bay Parking
Drive past the bay, then reverse in slowly keeping the lines in view. Straighten up, settle, and shift to P. The preferred technique for safer exit visibility — and often tested in driving exams.
Angle Parking
Steer into a 45-degree angled space, matching the angle of the parking lines. Common in shopping centres and busy streets — quick to enter but requires careful alignment to avoid clipping neighbours.
💡 Parking Tips
- 🐢Go slow — the car has idle creep like a real CVT automatic.
- 👁Watch the steering angle readout; small inputs matter at low speed.
- 🔄Use Drive/Reverse toggles to make small corrections after reversing in.
- 📐The top-down view lets you see parking angles you can't see from inside a real car.
- 🎥Try Rotating Camera mode — the world rotates around the car so it always faces forward, making left and right feel natural.
- ⏱Try to beat your own time — each attempt records your seconds.
❌ Fail Conditions
- 💥Collision — hitting another parked or moving vehicle ends the attempt immediately.
- 🚧Hit the fence — driving into the boundary barriers counts as a fail.
- 🛣Off road — leaving the drivable road surface also ends the attempt.
- 🔁All fails let you restart the same level instantly.
Learner Drivers
Preparing for your driving test? Practise parallel, bay, and angle parking from a top-down view that reveals the geometry you can't see from inside a real car. Build muscle memory for steering inputs before your next lesson.
Nervous Parkers
Already have your licence but dread tight parking spots? Practise at your own pace with no pressure, no traffic stress, and instant restarts. Build confidence before facing a real car park.
Driving Instructors
Use the simulator as a visual teaching aid to explain parking angles, reference points, and steering timing to students. The top-down perspective makes it easy to demonstrate concepts that are hard to convey from the driver's seat.
Anyone, Anywhere
No download, no account, no cost. Runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. Available in English, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Can I use this to prepare for my driving test?
Simple Parking Simulator helps you understand the geometry and steering inputs behind common parking manoeuvres. While it is not a substitute for professional driving lessons or in-car practice, the top-down view helps you visualise manoeuvres that are difficult to see from inside a real vehicle. Many learner drivers use it as a supplementary study tool alongside their driving lessons.
Is it really free?
Yes — completely free. No download, no account, no hidden fees. The game runs directly in your browser and is supported by a small banner advertisement.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The game is fully playable on mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android) with on-screen touch controls including a virtual steering wheel, gas, and brake buttons. It works in any modern browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and more.
What parking types can I practise?
Four types: parallel parking (between two cars alongside a kerb), forward bay parking (driving forward into a marked space), reverse bay parking (reversing into a space), and angle parking (45-degree angled spaces). Each type has 6 progressively harder levels.
Are the car physics realistic?
The car is modelled on a Honda Fit GK5 with a CVT automatic transmission, a 12.5:1 steering ratio, speed-dependent understeer, and caster self-centring. While it is a simplified 2D simulation, the physics are designed so that the habits you build here transfer to real driving.
About Simple Parking Simulator
This simulator is designed to help learner drivers and nervous parkers understand the mechanics of real-world parking manoeuvres. Choose between a Fixed Camera (classic top-down) or Rotating Camera (the car always faces forward, like a real driver's perspective) to practise four parking styles: parallel, forward bay, reverse bay, and angle parking.
The car physics are modelled on a Honda Fit GK5 with a realistic CVT automatic transmission, a 12.5:1 steering ratio, speed-dependent understeer, and caster self-centering — so habits you build here translate to real driving intuition.
