🏁 How to Win
Parallel Parking
Park between two cars alongside a kerb. Line up beside the target, reverse back slowly away from the curb, then straighten and shift to P. The most challenging real-world scenario for new drivers.
Forward Bay Parking
Drive forward into a marked bay. Centre the car before crossing the lines, stop fully inside the zone, straighten the wheel, then engage Park. Common in supermarkets and car parks.
Reverse Bay Parking
Drive past the bay, then reverse in slowly keeping the lines in view. Straighten up, settle, and shift to P. The preferred technique for safer exit visibility — and often tested in driving exams.
💡 Parking Tips
- 🐢Go slow — the car has idle creep like a real CVT automatic.
- 👁Watch the steering angle readout; small inputs matter at low speed.
- 🔄Use Drive/Reverse toggles to make small corrections after reversing in.
- 📐The top-down view lets you see parking angles you can't see from inside a real car.
- ⏱Try to beat your own time — each attempt records your seconds.
❌ Fail Conditions
- 💥Collision — hitting another parked or moving vehicle ends the attempt immediately.
- 🚧Hit the fence — driving into the boundary barriers counts as a fail.
- 🛣Off road — leaving the drivable road surface also ends the attempt.
- 🔁All fails let you restart the same level instantly.
About Simple Parking Simulator
This simulator is designed to help learner drivers and nervous parkers understand the mechanics of real-world parking manoeuvres. The top-down view gives you a perspective you simply cannot get from inside a car — you can see exactly how your vehicle's angle, speed, and steering combine to place it in the bay.
The car physics are modelled on a Honda Fit GK5 with a realistic CVT automatic transmission, a 12.5:1 steering ratio, speed-dependent understeer, and caster self-centering — so habits you build here translate to real driving intuition.
